Better to Give then receive

You may have heard the old adage – it is better to give then receive.  At Sox Box, we have continued to give and can attest to the truth of this statement.  While making and selling high quality socks and garments remains priority, we continue to focus on our mission centered around giving back and being a socially responsible organization.  The journey has been difficult and wonderful at the same time.  As we completed our latest round of donations through 2018, Sox Box has now given back over $91,000 to Veteran focused non-profits as well as other select charities.  Lately sales have been more difficult.  These days the sock sales do not run like waterfalls – and we do not chase them.  But through difficult times, we continue to give to our amazing non-profit organizations that focus on delivering services and benefits to our nation’s veterans that cannot be overstated in their importance.  We are grateful for the men and women in uniform who have given us the freedom to sell our socks.  The fight for democracy, basic human rights, peaceful nations and strong international institutions has never been more important.  Our nation’s uniformed service represents the finest coalition of war fighters, peacekeepers and threat deterrence that the world has ever seen.  But it doesn’t stop with our uniformed service members, our domestic uniformed civilian law enforcement and first responders put themselves into harms way to promote the safety, peace, freedom and civil liberties we enjoy daily.  Also not forgotten is the family members and care givers who support daily these men and women.  Finally, that brings us to you, our fan, friend, neighbor and supporter and sock fan.  No matter the race, nationality or creed, your support of our company and our mission has allowed for our company to give back to the organizations that give to all of us.  The circle of unselfish sacrifice is true, real and rewarding to be a part of.  We thank all of you for being a part of this journey with us.  Sock on my brothers and sisters – much love –Vince and Athena
